“My state of health and my happiness are my human right and my own responsibility.

We each hold the key to our own happiness, and by the decisions we make we establish the path to what becomes our destiny.

A path to joy is always an alternative to finding, establishing and securing the enjoyment of life.

As we establish Joy in our lives, we become a fountain of energy, love, light and human warmth which touches everyone who comes in contact with us… others will join on an awe-inspiring walk thru life

‘CAMINO A LA ALEGRIA’ the painting, is a gathering and coming together of a number of persons. I called on them to be a part of the painting by providing my canvas with their individual foot prints, most of them visited my studio and physically walked on the painting in a kind gesture of commitment to their destination point, ‘JOY’

Children, their parents, males and females from different cultures and several corners of the world generously complied with my request, all united by one common goal, the desire and commitment to select for themselves the rightful choice of happiness. The bare feet are a symbol of humility, the colors of the foot prints are symbolic of equality; the background colors in the painting contrast as consequence of their walk which caused the luminous colors to radiate their collective joy …
