 "Circuit Boy is a playful mix of Japanese and American iconography that invokes vintage advertising in the form of a weathered billboard perhaps. A technique that is unique to me is 'painting with comic paneling'. The comic paneling used to give Astro Boy some of his computer circuitry is from a 1950s Sunday comic strip depicting Mickey Mouse and Goofy trying to build a rocket ship to the moon. Rockets, flying robots, and a sugary drink, all head-spinning fun." -Pitch Black
