“Wall sculpture is something I pursue occasionally. This piece resulted from our monthly light show when the full moon (right at sunset, of course) emerges from the sea. It creates this incredible shimmer where the light skips across the waves. This wondrous event has always captivated me leading to this abstract interpretation. I hope it captures the literal aspects of the moon's beauty along with the spiritual. No human could help but be moved by this magical celestial event. This piece could be fabricated in a larger version. I see a long wall, maybe in an outdoor location, say where you drive up to the porte cochere and here is an 18 foot moonrise on the wall leading in to the home.
